Preparing a logo is much more difficult than first perceived.
1. Will the logo give a real sense of this place. The logo communicates
visually what is different about the place. There are two main points to consider when first beginning to design. 2. It will need to be clearly read and work graphically when small or large. Along with this goes the rules, no fuzzy lines and only clear distinct colours. Try photographing your logo and reducing it to a small size to see if it still works. Tips
Make lots of sketches, brain storm a bit and write down what is special
about Fishguard and Goodwick and distinguishes it from other places.Look at the space around your logo. Look at the negative space Subtract as much as possible, if in doubt leave it out! Never use more than two fonts Make sure that your logo works on both dark and light backgrounds Remember that simple images sometimes can be read differently by different people..check it out! Colours work differently on different computers , you will need a breakdown in CMYK or RGB Good Luck ..if you need help please email us.
